Child Safety Standards

Application: PetTailez

Last updated: 1 September 2026

PetTailez is a social application for adult pet owners, developed and operated by PetTailez. We are committed to keeping our platform free of any content or conduct that sexualises, endangers, or exploits children. This document sets out the child safety standards we publish and enforce across every platform where PetTailez is available.

1. Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)

PetTailez strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in every form. This includes, without limitation:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) β€” any image, video, drawing, generated media, text, or link depicting or describing the sexual abuse or sexualisation of a minor.
  • Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to sexually exploit, extort (including sextortion), or endanger a minor.
  • Sexualisation of minors, including sexualised commentary about a child.
  • Trafficking of, or facilitation of contact with, a minor for any sexual or exploitative purpose.
  • Promoting, normalising, advertising, or facilitating any of the above.

Any account involved in CSAE is permanently banned. Confirmed CSAM is removed, preserved as required by law, and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the relevant local authorities.

2. PetTailez is an adults-only service (18+)

As stated in our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, you must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use PetTailez. There is no exception for minors and no parental or guardian consent pathway. Any account found to belong to, or be used by, a person under 18 is removed.

3. In-app mechanism for reporting and user feedback

Every user-generated surface in PetTailez β€” profiles, posts, photos, videos, comments, chronicles, and direct messages β€” includes an in-app Report action. Users can also block any other user. Reports that concern the safety of a child, CSAE, or CSAM are treated as the highest priority.

Users, parents, guardians, and members of the public may also contact us directly at the address in Section 6 to report suspected CSAE or to give feedback about child safety on the platform.

4. How we address CSAE and CSAM

  • Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Content that violates these standards is removed promptly.
  • Confirmed CSAM is removed and preserved in line with applicable legal requirements, and the account is permanently banned and its device and identifiers blocked where possible.
  • We report confirmed CSAM to NCMEC (via its CyberTipline) and/or to the competent law-enforcement authority in the relevant jurisdiction, and we cooperate with lawful requests from those authorities.
  • We take action against attempts to circumvent enforcement, including the creation of new accounts by banned users.

5. Compliance with child safety laws

PetTailez complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where the app is available, including obligations relating to the reporting and removal of CSAM. We review and update these standards as our product and the applicable legal requirements evolve.
