Your Data, Your Control
PetTailez gives you full control over all of your data. You can delete any content you've created at any time, and nothing is retained on our servers after deletion.
Delete Your Entire Account
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time. Go to Settings > Delete Account in the app. This removes everything — your profile, pet profiles, photos, comments, messages, likes, and all other content. This action is irreversible.
Delete Your Photos and Videos
Every photo and video you upload is fully under your control. You can delete any of your media at any time from your pet's profile. Deleted media is permanently removed from our servers, including any likes and comments attached to it.
Delete Your Comments
You can delete any comment you've posted on any photo. Simply tap on your comment and choose to delete it. The comment is permanently removed.
Delete Your Likes
You can unlike any photo at any time by tapping the heart icon again. Your like is immediately removed.
Delete Your Direct Messages
You can delete entire direct message conversations from your inbox. Deleted conversations are permanently removed from your account.
Delete Your Chronicle Posts
Owners Chronicle posts that you've written can be deleted at any time from your chronicle. The post and all associated comments are permanently removed.
Edit Your Profile
You have full control over your profile information. Edit your display name, avatar, bio, location, and other details at any time through the Edit Profile screen. You can also edit each of your pet's profiles individually.
Block Other Users
You can block any user on PetTailez. Blocked users cannot see your content in feeds, send you messages, or interact with your photos. You can manage your blocked users list from your profile settings.
Photo Contest & Hall of Fame
PetTailez hosts a monthly photo contest where the community votes for the best pet photo. The winning pet each month is featured in the Hall of Fame — a permanent archive celebrating top pets. If your pet has won a contest, the winning photo and pet name are preserved as part of the contest's historical record, even after account deletion. If you do not wish to participate in the contest, you can remove your photo from the competition before the contest ends. If your pet has already won and you want the winning photo removed from the Hall of Fame, simply contact our support team at support@pettailez.com and we will remove it.

Every piece of data you create — photos, comments, likes, messages, chronicle posts, and your profile — can be individually deleted at any time.
