How to Delete Your Account

1. 1Open the PetTailez app
2. 2Go to Edit Profile
3. 3Tap "Delete Account"
4. 4Confirm deletion

This permanently removes your owner profile, all pet profiles, and every piece of content associated with your account.

How to Delete a Pet Profile

If you want to remove an individual pet profile without deleting your entire account, you can do so at any time.

1. 1Open the PetTailez app
2. 2Go to Edit Profile
3. 3Tap the edit button on the pet you want to remove
4. 4Tap "Delete Pet Profile"
5. 5Confirm deletion

Deleting a pet profile permanently removes the pet's details, photos, and all associated content from our servers.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

• ✕Profile information
• ✕Pet profiles
• ✕Photos and videos
• ✕Comments
• ✕Direct messages
• ✕Likes
• ✕Chat messages
• ✕Chronicle posts
• ✕Friend connections
• ✕Account credentials

Data Retention Policy

All data is permanently erased from our servers and cannot be recovered. PetTailez does not retain user data after account deletion. The only exception is the Hall of Fame archive: if your pet won a Monthly Photo Contest, the winning photo and pet name are preserved as part of the contest's historical record. If you do not wish your pet's winning photo to remain in the Hall of Fame, please contact support before deleting your account and we will remove it.
